ELECTRICAL & FUSES

2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Fuse Box Locations

The 2015 Silverado has an engine-compartment fuse block and left and right instrument-panel fuse blocks.

Check your configuration

Confirm the engine, trim, drivetrain, market and installed equipment before using a part number, capacity or repair procedure.

Right instrument panelPassenger-side dash endPassenger-side fuses

Where the panels are

The engine-compartment fuse block is under the hood. The left instrument-panel panel is behind an access cover at the driver-side edge of the dashboard; the right panel is at the passenger-side edge. Fuse allocation varies with equipment.

How to use the fuse charts

Switch off the affected circuit, remove the correct cover and compare the cavity identifier with the chart for your vehicle. Replace a failed fuse only with the same type and amperage. If it blows again, inspect the circuit fault rather than installing a larger fuse.

  • Engine compartment: underhood fuse and relay block.
  • Left instrument panel: driver-side dashboard end cover.
  • Right instrument panel: passenger-side dashboard end cover.

Why there is no universal fuse chart

The owner manual warns that the vehicle may not have every fuse, relay or feature shown. An empty position can be correct. The lid diagram and exact manual printing take precedence over a photograph of another truck. Our panel pages cover access and troubleshooting; they do not claim that an illustrative photograph is a factory cavity map.

Which diagram belongs to your truck?

The 2015 Chevrolet owner manual uses position numbering 1–72 for the engine block and separate numbered positions for the left and right dash blocks. Some service-electrical documents identify the same circuit with a different engineering ID. Use the owner-manual number with the corresponding block and verify the lid legend before swapping a fuse.

Before working on your vehicle

Use the correct model-year manual and current service information. Stop if instructions or safety precautions are unclear, and use a qualified technician for work you cannot verify.
